Ana
Pérez Ventura began her musical studies in the Conservatorio de Santiago de Compostela (Spain). She later (2003) received a diploma in piano (grado medio) from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo (Spain) under the instruction of Enrique Goberna, and a diploma in piano (grado superior) with Nicasio Gradaille in 2008. She has also studied piano at the Conservatory of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) under the direction of the teacher Matthijs Verschoor, in Madrid  (Spain) with Josep Colom and in Barcelona (Spain) with Eulalia Solé.


She also adquired a Master’s degree in Music from the Paris IV-Sorbonne University (France). In order to complete these studies, she has been awarded scholarships from “Fundación Segundo Gil Dávila” (Spain, 2009-10) and “Fundación Pedro Barrié de la Maza” (Spain, 2010-11) .


She has received numerous piano masterclasses from: Almudena Cano, Peter Efler, Alexander Gold, Ángel González, Guillermo González, Ludovica Mosca, Claudia Schellenberger, Matthijs Verschoor, etc.; Shubert's lieder masterclasses by David Owen Norris and David Wilson-Johnson; piano pedagogy courses from Violeta Hemsy; harpsichord masterclasses from Ignasi Jordá and music analysis courses from Manel Rodeiro.

 

As a performer, she was invited in 2006, 2007 and 2008 to participate at the 8th, 9th and 10th cycles of young performers “Teresa Berganza”. It is also remarkable her participation at the “I Cycle John Cage” at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vigo (MARCO) in 2005. She also performed in the youth permormer cycle "Xeración 2000+8" organized by the city council of Vigo. She has given recitals in different cities of Spain and in Amsterdam.
